Barack Obama used a rally in Arizona “to deliver perhaps his bluntest warning yet about the stakes of next week’s midterm elections for America’s system of self-government,” the Washington Post reports.
If the Republican candidates here are successful, Obama argued, “Democracy as we know it may not survive in Arizona.”
He added: “That’s not an exaggeration. That is a fact.”
