House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said there is no place in the Republican Party for anti-Semitism, more than a week after Donald Trump’s meeting with a white supremacist at his private resort, Reuters reports.
Said McCarthy: “I don’t think anybody should be spending any time with Nick Fuentes. He has no place in this Republican Party.”
However, the New York Times reports McCarthy declined to criticize Trump directly.
