Playbook reports there are still at least five “hard nos” against Kevin McCarthy: Reps. Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Andy Biggs, Bob Good and Matt Rosendale.
In addition, Reps. Ralph Norman and Eli Crane have also shown no willingness to back McCarthy.
It’s not clear any concessions will ever win them over.
