George Santos Used Fake Jewish Name to Raise Money

A former roommate of Rep. George Santos (R-NY) told CNN that the embattled congressman used a Jewish-sounding last name to try to raise money for a questionable GoFundMe page.

Said Gregory Morey-Parker: “He would say, ‘Oh well, the Jews will give more if you’re a Jew.’”

Politico: “Weeks into the new Congress, the media circus surrounding the embattled freshman New Yorker has not let up. More than a dozen reporters and photographers are stationed outside his fledgling office whenever the House is in session.”
