“House Republicans cleared a key procedural hurdle this afternoon as the chamber voted along party lines to move forward on the Limit, Save, Grow Act, a $4.8 trillion spending-cut package that also lifts the debt limit. The vote was 219-210,” Punchbowl News reports.
“This is a remarkably quick turnaround for Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the House Republican leadership, which had struggled to round up support for the package on Tuesday.”
