President Biden confirmed that there are now 14 Americans confirmed among the dead in Israel after the attack by Hamas, CNN reports.
He also said that there are Americans currently being held hostage in Gaza.
Said Biden: “In this moment, we must be crystal clear – we stand with Israel.”
He added: “Like every nation in the world, Israel has the right to respond — indeed has a duty to respond — to these vicious attacks.”
