House GOP Impeachment Attempt Now Uncertain

The House Republicans second attempt to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas hinges on the potential absences in the chamber, CNN reports.

Due to snow storms, and the fact that it’s a fly-in day, members of both parties could miss the vote.

The vote is currently expected this evening, but if there are too many absences Republicans may have to go into recess and delay the vote — a risky move considering Democrats could flip a seat in the New York special election tonight.
