Former Gov. Mark Sanford (R) told Politico he doesn’t see much hope for Nikki Haley against Donald Trump in South Carolina’s GOP presidential primary.
He said it would take “a meteor strike” for her to win.
Other than that, Sanford says her best chance is if Trump self-destructs and defeats himself, “which he’s perfectly capable of.”
