“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has repeatedly dismissed the severity of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the U.S. Capitol over the last year,” NBC News reports.
Said Kennedy late last year: “What’s the worst thing that could happen? Right? I mean, we have an entire military, Pentagon, a few blocks away.”
He added: “Then, you know, put the ones who broke the law in jail and let’s move on.”
