President Biden praised passage of the long-awaited $95 billion aid bill for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan and pledged that the money would quickly move to its intended destinations, Politico reports.
Said Biden: “We rose to the moment, we came together, and we got it done. Now we need to move fast, and we are.”
He added the U.S. will begin sending the first shipment of equipment, including air defense munitions, artillery, rocket systems and armored vehicles to Ukraine “in a few hours.”
