Only ‘Lord Almighty’ Could Drive Biden from Race

In a defiant interview that aired Friday night, President Biden dismissed concerns about his health and doubts about his re-election bid, saying only “the Lord Almighty” could convince him he should step aside, the New York Times reports.

Said Biden: “If the Lord Almighty came down and said ‘Joe, get out of the race,’ I’d get out of the race. The Lord Almighty’s not coming down.”

At the end of his interview, Biden suggested that Americans and others around the world watch him next week in his element: herding allies against Russia.

Said Biden: “I guess a good way to judge me is you’re going to have now the NATO conference here in the United States next week.”
