House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries met privately with President Joe Biden and “directly expressed the full breadth of insight, heartfelt perspectives and conclusions about the path forward that the Caucus has shared in our recent time together,” according to a letter he sent to House Democrats.
Jeffries did not say whether he pushed Biden to step out of the race.
