Trump Hints He May Announce Running Mate on Monday

Donald Trump told a radio show that he would prefer to announce his running mate during the Republican convention “or just slightly before the convention, like Monday.”

He named Tim Scott, Marco Rubio, Doug Burgum and J.D. Vance as the contenders.

He also noted that choosing his running mate is “like a highly sophisticated version of The Apprentice, if you think about it.”
