“Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer joined a call of Harris for President staff on Sunday, throwing her support to the vice president in a crucial battleground state and adding to the flood of endorsements,” Politico reports.

“Michigan is viewed as a must-win state for Democrats. And Whitmer was one of the Biden campaign’s most prominent surrogates from a governor’s office, along with Govs. Gavin Newsom of California and Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, both of whom also endorsed Harris.”
