Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) said he didn’t think that Kamala Harris emerging quickly as the Democrats’ consensus candidate was at the cost of a competitive process, the New York Times reports.
Said Schatz: “My view is this is a competitive process — she’s just winning it. I have never, ever seen the Internet so ablaze with positivity and enthusiasm.”
