Lindsey Graham Defends J.D. Vance

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said when asked about Sen. J.D. Vance’s (R-OH) recently resurfaced comment about “childless cat ladies” that “you should never say anything to hurt anybody’s feelings,” CBS News reports.

But he made clear his support for Vance and the Republican ticket, indicating that Donald Trump doesn’t regret selecting Vance as his running mate amid recent backlash. 

Said Graham: “This idea of trying to marginalize J.D. and make him some kind of bad person is not going to work because he’s not a bad person — he’s a good person.”
