Remembering My Dad

It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since my father passed away. He introduced me to politics when I was a boy and I’ve loved it ever since.

I really missed talking to him during this election cycle. He would have been truly horrified at so much of it, but he also had faith in his fellow Americans to do the right thing.

I’ll be thinking a lot about him as the votes come in tomorrow.

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.
