U.S. Says Ukraine Will Sign Minerals Deal

U.S. national security adviser Mike Waltz said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will sign a critical minerals deal with the U.S. in “the very short term” and that the war in Ukraine will end “soon,” although Kyiv says several key points must still be agreed, the Financial Times reports.

One U.S. official told Axios that it’s now up to Zelensky in a “make-or-break scenario for the Ukrainians.”
