U.S. Retreats from Enforcing Sanctions on Russia

“European officials say the Trump administration has pared back its engagement with efforts to enforce sanctions on Russia as the US pushes for an end to the war in Ukraine,” Bloomberg reports.

“The US has been largely absent from several working groups set up by allies to crack down on attempts to get around sanctions imposed on the Kremlin, the officials said, asking not to be named discussing private work.”
