Mike Johnson Loses Another Vote

Rep. John Rose (R-TN) “is poised to join conservative hard-liners in opposing the current draft of the Republican megabill now moving through the House,” Politico reports.

“Rose, who is planning to publicly announce his opposition, has not been especially vocal inside the GOP conference in objecting to particular provisions of the legislation. He is not in the House Freedom Caucus, nor has he previously raised concerns about Medicaid cuts or other controversial portions of the bill.”
