President Trump said at a press conference that the U.S. is “going to run” Venezuela in the aftermath of an early morning strike on the country that resulted in the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.
Said Trump: “We are going to run the country until such a time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition.
He added the U.S. military stands “ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so.”
