Trump Lowers Expectations for the Midterm Elections

“President Trump is warning of a possible Democratic victory in November’s midterm elections, seemingly lowering expectations for Republican wins well ahead of any voters heading to the ballot box,” The Hill reports.

Said Trump: “Presidents, whether it’s Republican or Democrat, when they win, it doesn’t make any difference. They seem to lose the midterms.”

He added: “Maybe they want to put up a guard fence. You just don’t know. It doesn’t make sense. Hopefully we’re going to change that around. We’re doing great.”
