Seth Moulton Still Needs to Make the Primary Ballot

Boston Globe: “The U.S. Senate primary pitting Representative Seth Moulton against incumbent Senator Ed Markey is supposed to be the marquee political contest in Massachusetts this election year.”

“But even to get on the primary ballot in September, Moulton has to first convince hundreds of attendees of the Democratic party’s upcoming annual convention to back him. And in a sign of potential vulnerability within his own party, Moulton is trying to get a wave of voters who aren’t registered as Democrats to become convention delegates in order to boost his chances of making the ballot.”

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.

Goddard is also co-author of You Won - Now What? (Scribner, 1998), a political management book hailed by prominent journalists and politicians from both parties. In addition, Goddard's essays on politics and public policy have appeared in dozens of newspapers across the country.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
