“President Donald Trump promised to be everywhere on the campaign trail this year. He hasn’t been,” Bloomberg Government reports.
“Trump has made just 12 campaign stops in the five months since the White House said he would make one appearance a week, including two in New York. The president isn’t on the ballot in November, but House Republicans defending a razor-thin majority need his help to turn out the low-propensity voters who typically skip midterms, a job the party has struggled to do without him on the ticket.”
