“The Trump administration’s move to close the US Agency for International Development helped enable the Ebola outbreak spreading through the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, according to Samantha Power, who led the organization for almost four years,” Bloomberg reports.

Said Power: “I don’t believe we would have a spiraling Ebola epidemic if USAID had not been dismantled.”
