July 23, 2026 · 4:45 pm ET · Leave a Comment

“President Trump said the U.S. would hold Iran responsible for future attacks by Houthi militants after the group fired on two Saudi tankers in the Red Sea, sending oil prices skyrocketing,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

Said Trump: “The Houthis are a Surrogate and/or Proxy of Iran, and major military punishment will be inflicted upon Iran and, of course, the Houthis, themselves.”

Bloomberg: Trump says he’ll hold Iran responsible for future Houthi strikes.
