GOP Hopes to Raise Millions During Midterm Convention

“Republicans are planning to raise millions of dollars during the coming GOP midterm convention in Dallas, including asking donors to pay more than $88,000 for a photo with President Trump,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“The Republican National Committee sent out invitations this week to a pair of fundraising events during the convention. A roundtable with Trump on Sept. 9 will cost $250,000 a person to attend.”

“A second roundtable featuring Vice President JD Vance on Sept. 10 will cost $75,000 per person. Similar to Trump’s event, donors can separately select to take a photo with Vance at the event for $35,000.”
