Haley Stevens Endorses Mike Rogers for Senate

“The Democratic representative who lost a primary fight against Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, the progressive Democratic Senate nominee in Michigan, endorsed his Republican opponent on Sunday, deepening an intraparty rift two days before the midterm elections,” the New York Times reports.

“The Republican nominee, Mike Rogers, received the endorsement from Representative Haley Stevens, a Democrat who represents suburban areas around Detroit, after she appeared alongside him at a church service. The endorsement was a startling turn in a race for a seat that Democrats hope to hold on to as they seek to flip control of the Senate on Tuesday.”
