GOP Lawmaker Has Been Absent On the Campaign Trail

Rep. John Carter (R-TX) “is seeking a 13th term representing Texas’ 31st Congressional District. But the 84-year-old has been noticeably absent from the campaign trail in recent months,” KUT reports.

Jake Lahut reports Carter “barely gave a coherent interview” recently and is apparently suffering from the early stages of dementia.

Same Election. Different Stories.

Election Day brings a flood of political news — and which sources you follow can shape the story you see.

That's why I appreciate what Ground News does. It shows how the same story is covered across the political spectrum — and highlights important stories that one side may be ignoring entirely.

And when the votes are counted and everyone starts debating what they mean, it's a useful way to get a broader view.
