A Note to Readers

November 6, 2026 · 9:00 am ET · Leave a Comment

With the midterm elections behind us, I want to take a moment to thank you for spending so much time with Political Wire during this extraordinary election cycle.

I’ve worked harder than ever to bring you the most important political stories, the sharpest analysis and the context you need to make sense of it all. My goal has always been simple: Help you understand what’s happening in politics without wasting your time.

But I’ve also spent much of the past year working behind the scenes to make Political Wire better. I’ve rolled out dozens of improvements, new features and tools designed to make the site more useful, engaging and enjoyable.

And I’m nowhere near finished.

I’ve got so much more planned for the coming months. The next election cycle promises to be epic and I want Political Wire to be an indispensable part of how you follow it.

None of this would be possible without Political Wire members. Your support allows me to focus on what matters most: finding the stories worth your attention, explaining why they matter and constantly improving the experience.

So, to everyone who has supported this site, thank you. I never take your trust — or your time — for granted.

And if you’re a regular reader who hasn’t joined yet, please consider becoming a member.

The best is still ahead.
