Eighty-eight current and former top executives from across corporate America have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president, CNBC reports.
They include James Murdoch, the former CEO of 21st Century Fox and an heir to the Murdoch family media empire.
“Sen. J.D. Vance said on Thursday from Arizona that he does not believe former Sen. John McCain would support Vice President Kamala Harris if he were alive and saw the southern border today,” Politico reports.
“Vance made his remarks after the late senator’s son endorsed Harris earlier this week.”
Said Vance: “I do not believe for a second that if John McCain were alive today and he sees what’s going on at the American southern border, that he would support Kamala Harris and all the destruction she has wrought. I really don’t believe that.”
Melania Trump promoted her upcoming memoir Thursday, saying in a new video that she feels “a responsibility to clarify the facts,” CNN reports.

“Vice President Kamala Harris will meet with Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien and the union’s membership as it ponders an endorsement in the presidential race, the union said Thursday,” Politico reports.
“The Teamsters booked Sept. 16 as the meeting date.”

Donald Trump told Jewish donors on Thursday that they would be “abandoned” if Kamala Harris becomes president, The Guardian reports.
Said Trump: “You’re going to be abandoned if she becomes president. And I think you need to explain that to your people… You’re not going to have an Israel if she becomes president.”
