Just 15 People Attend Schilling’s Rally

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling held a Trump “rally” outside Boston’s city hall on Saturday, “but uh, it wasn’t much of a rally,” Sports Illustrated reports.

“According to folks passing by, there were around 10 or 15 people in attendance to see the three-time World Series champ. He was pictured with a dejected gaze on his face.”

Curt Schilling Joins Breitbart

New York Magazine: “On Monday, Breitbart plans to announce former Red Sox pitcher and Trump supporter Curt Schilling will begin hosting a daily online radio show featuring political commentary and calls from listeners. The broadcast will eventually include a video livestream. The show marks Schilling’s return to media six months after ESPN fired him for sharing an anti-transgender Facebook post.”

Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling told WPRO that that he’s planning to run against Sen. Elizabeth Warren in 2018.

Said Schilling: “I’ve made my decision. I’m going to run. But I haven’t talked to Shonda, my wife. And ultimately it’s going to come down to how her and I feel this would affect our marriage and our kids.”

Schilling Says He Wants to Challenge Warren

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling says that he’s “serious” about mounting a 2018 challenge to unseat Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Politico reports.

Said Schilling: “Oh, I’m serious about it. If I’m not electable, then I won’t get elected but I believe being a senator, being a governor, being in public office is about being a leader.”

He also derided Hillary Clinton: “I don’t understand how Hillary’s an option, much less the candidate. I don’t understand how she’s not in jail.”

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling “seems to have lofty goals following his careers in baseball and broadcasting. The three-time World Series-winning pitcher recently revealed some pretty serious political plans in perhaps the most casual manner possible — in the comment section of one of his own Facebook posts complaining about the Democratic Party,” the Los Angeles Times reports.

Said Schilling: “I am going to run, soon. State office first, white house in 8 years.”

And then he added: “or 4 if by some amazing illegal event this country elects another Clinton.”

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling told WEEI that he thinks he wasn’t voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame because of his politics.

He compared himself to new inductee John Smoltz: “I think the other big thing is that I think he’s a Democrat and so I know that, as a Republican, that there’s some people that really don’t like that.”
