Ed Rollins, the chair of a pro-Donald Trump super PAC, said it will take a miracle for the Republican nominee to win the election, CNN reports.
Gingrich Lobbying to be Trump’s Running Mate
Newt Gingrich “has, in effect, launched his own campaign” to become Donald Trump’s running mate, National Review reports.
Said Trump super PAC operative Ed Rollins: “I think Newt is lobbying to be the vice president, and I think their people are paying a lot of attention to him.”
He added: “It’d be a ticket with six former wives, kind of like a Henry VIII thing. They certainly understand women.”
Rollins Joins Team Trump
Ed Rollins, one of the longest-serving Republican presidential campaign strategists, is joining a pro-Donald Trump super PAC, Politico reports.
“In an interview, Rollins — who managed Ronald Reagan’s 1984 campaign and played leading roles for Jack Kemp, Mike Huckabee and Michele Bachmann — said that he would serve as a top strategist for Great America PAC, an outside group that’s supporting Trump.”
