Pat Robertson told his television audience he is “appalled” by President Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from northern Syria.
Said Robertson: “The President of the United States is in great danger of losing the mandate of Heaven if he permits this to happen.”
Pat Robertson called the Alabama bill to outlaw abortion “an extreme law” and said that it will most likely be overturned at the Supreme Court.
Said Robertson: “I think Alabama has gone too far, they’ve passed a law that would give a 99-year prison sentence to those who commit abortions. There’s no exception for rape or incest. It’s an extreme law and they want to challenge Roe v. Wade, but my humble view is that this is not the case we want to bring to the Supreme Court because I think this one’ll lose.”
Evangelical leader Pat Robertson told viewers of the 700 Club to “cool down the tempers of those who are screaming blood for the Saudis” and not risk a $100 billion arms deal with the United States over the apparent death of Saudi dissident and journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Said Robertson: “These people are key allies. I don’t think on this issue we need pull sanctions and get tough. I just think it’s a mistake.”

Pat Robertson told his 700 Club viewers that there’s “violence in the streets” because “we have disrespect for authority.”
He added: “There is profound disrespect for our president, all across this nation they say terrible things about him. It’s in the news, it’s in other places.”
Pat Robertson defended Fox News host Eric Bolling “who I think is a straight arrow” and a “very nice man” despite being taken off the air for allegedly texting photos of his penis to colleagues.
Said Robertson: “If you wanted to destroy the Fox News, you really wanted to destroy them, what would you do? Well you would send some salacious material, ostensibly from one of their popular co-hosts or hosts and you’d send it out and then get it publicized and then you have some woman complain that she had gotten this salacious material from this co-host and then she would come to Fox, and Fox is so averse to any kind of legal action that they would immediately take the person off the air, so before long you would have decimated the prime time line up of all the Fox hosts. Easy to do? Absolutely. Is it being done? Probably.”
Pat Robertson said on The 700 Club that homosexuals have taken over the media and universities.
Said Robertson: “We have given the ground to a small minority. You figure, lesbians, one percent of the population; homosexuals, two percent of the population. That’s all. That’s statistically all. But they have dominated — dominated the media, they’ve dominated the cultural shift and they have infiltrated the major universities.”
He added: “It’s just unbelievable what’s being done. A tiny, tiny minority makes a huge difference. The majority — it’s time it wakes up.”
