Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh told Fox & Friends that impeachment efforts by Democrats are driven by “pure, raw, hatred” of President Trump.
Said Limbaugh: “Democrats are wandering aimlessly and being propelled by one thing… We are watching pure, raw hatred. They hate the man and they hate the people who elected him. They hate him because he beat them.”
“Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh called for concealed carry in U.S. schools on Sunday in response to the deadly shooting at a Florida high school that killed 17 and injured several others,” Politico reports.
Said Limbaugh: “The solution is we need concealed carry in these schools. If we’re not going to take action, we better have mechanisms in these schools to stop it when it breaks out.”
“I’m not happy to have to pass this on. I’m very, very troubled to have to pass this on. And I want to say at the outset that I hope my interpretation is wrong, and I hope this is not the case. But it looks like, from here, right here, right now, it looks like President Trump is caving on his demand for a measly $1 billion in the budget for his wall on the border with Mexico.”

Rush Limbaugh recalled past golfing trips and talks with Donald Trump which suggested he’s been thinking about running for president for a long time, Politico reports.
Said Limbaugh: “I don’t think this is a snap decision. The reason I said this, you know, don’t misunderstand me here, but I’ve played golf with Trump a number of times, and each time I’ve played, politics, of course, is one of the primary subjects.”
He added: “Two or three years ago he was plotting and strategizing and learning and formulating thoughts, this, that, and the other.”
Rush Limbaugh said that Sen. Ted Cruz is the only real choice for conservatives in the GOP presidential race.
Said Limbaugh: “If conservatism is your bag, if conservatism is the dominating factor in how you vote, there is no other choice for you in this campaign than Ted Cruz, because you are exactly right: This is the closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan.”
Donald Trump may be in a battle with Fox News, but Rush Limbaugh backs him up:
“Everything he’s doing goes against the book. Everything that any analyst or consultant or professional would tell you not to do, Donald Trump is doing it, and he’s leading the pack. This creates its own set of emotions and feelings and thoughts that run from person to person.”
“Trump is functioning totally outside this structure that has existed for decades. As such, the people who are only familiar with the structure and believe in it and cherish it and want to protect it, feel threatened in ways that you can’t even comprehend.”
Rush Limbaugh said Sen. Marco Rubio wouldn’t be able to overcome his support of amnesty for undocumented immigrants, Politico reports.
Said Limbaugh: “Marco Rubio was part of the Gang of Eight trying to secure amnesty and wishes he wasn’t. Ted Cruz never was and they’re trying to make it out like he was. At the end of the day when people go vote, people are gonna remember of the two it was Marco Rubio that was a member of the Gang of Eight and Ted Cruz that wasn’t.”
Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, “who has a substantial following among grass-roots Republicans, came to the defense of Donald Trump as prominent leaders in the party stepped up their criticism of Mr. Trump’s pointed comments about Sen. John McCain,” the New York Times reports.
“Such a defense is not entirely surprising, since Mr. Limbaugh’s distaste for the Republican establishment is deep and well documented. But the supportive words from Mr. Limbaugh may provide Mr. Trump with the inoculation he needs to survive the scorn of the party’s elders long enough to be included in the presidential debates.”
