More Complaints Surface Over Scott Brown’s Behavior

October 27, 2017 at 7:08 am EDT By Taegan Goddard Leave a Comment

The Guardian “has, over the past two months, spoken to multiple witnesses who attended the party who claim the behavior of the ambassador  was worse than he has admitted.”

“It is understood that two complaints investigated by the US state department against Brown originally came from two female peace corps volunteers who were at the event, and who served food and drink to the guests as a way to flip the cultural norm of Samoans serving westerners.”

“But in addition to these complaints are others that the ambassador’s behavior was ‘shocking,’ ‘culturally insensitive,’ ‘rude’ and ‘undiplomatic.'”

Stuff: U.S. Ambassador behaved “like he was channeling Trump.”

October 25, 2017 at 7:08 am EDT By Taegan Goddard Leave a Comment

U.S. ambassador to New Zealand Scott Brown has admitted he has been investigated over allegations he made inappropriate comments on his inaugural trip to Samoa, of which he is also the U.S. representative, the Guardian reports.

Brown told reporters that the official complaints related to comments he had made at a party in the Samoan capital, Apia, where he told attendees they looked “beautiful” and could make hundreds of dollars working in the hospitality industry in the U.S. Brown said he had “no idea” the comments would be regarded as offensive.

Brown Said He Had Sex in His Senate Office

August 9, 2016 at 10:17 am EDT By Taegan Goddard Leave a Comment

Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) was recently playing a version of The Newlywed Game during a cruise when he was asked to guess his wife’s answer to the most unusual place they have ever “made whoopee,” according to the Boston Globe.

“His first answer? On a golf course…. Then he guessed an airplane, to which his wife responded that everyone’s done it on an airplane — that’s not unusual. The passenger said Brown’s final answer — his US Senate office — really got the crowd going, especially when Brown turned to the audience and quipped, ‘That’s right, and you all paid for it!'”

Brown later claimed he was just joking.

Gov. Scott Walker toured New Hampshire with former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA), the Wall Street Journal reports.

Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA), who lost a U.S. Senate bid last year in New Hampshire, is now a bike mechanic, according to Seacoast Online.

Said Brown: “Back in December, I came in and said, ‘Listen, I don’t need a job, I don’t need any money, but I’ve always wanted to learn how to put together and take apart bikes.’ I kind of like it. It gets me out of the house and it gets me doing different things.”

Brown Rejoins Fox News

November 21, 2014 at 7:40 am EST By Taegan Goddard 11 Comments

Former Sen Scott Brown (R), who lost his bid to unseat Sen. Jean Shaheen (D-NH), is rejoining Fox News as a contributor, the Boston Herald reports.

“Brown’s decision to rejoin the cable news station is no surprise. The former senator left his Fox News gig and his job with the Boston law firm Nixon Peabody to campaign in New Hampshire, so he does need a job… The gig also keeps him in the public eye and on the radar should he decide that his political career isn’t over.”
