Introducing a new conversation series: Key Precincts: John Ellis and Taegan Goddard on Politics.
In this episode, we discuss the latest criminal indictment of Donald Trump and its impact on the Republican presidential race and politics in general.
My partner on this project is John Ellis, the proprietor of News Items, a daily newsletter on global politics, financial news, advanced technologies and science.
I learn something new from it nearly every day and recommend it highly.
John has been in and around the news media for decades and it shows in his breadth of knowledge.
We hope you enjoy this conversation.

While Congress may be out of town, the next month will be crucial to answering some big questions about all of the main characters in American politics right now.”
If you’re not yet a Political Wire member, now is the perfect time to join.
