Trump Calls for Release of Epstein Files Naming Democrats
“As prosecutors contend with a massive trove of documents related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, President Trump suggested Friday the Justice Department is spending too much time on the issue — but said prominent Democrats linked to Epstein should be named,” CBS News reports.
Said Trump: “Release all of their names, embarrass them, and get back to helping our Country.”
A Million More Epstein Documents Found
“The Justice Department said on Wednesday that it had discovered over a million more pages of material potentially related to the investigation of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — doubling the amount previously known and lengthening the time it will take to release the material,” the New York Times reports.
Expect More Epstein Files Over the Holidays
“The Trump administration estimates it has about one week to go — and as many as 700,000 more pages to review — before it finishes releasing all the Jeffrey Epstein files,” Axios reports.
“Meanwhile, they’ll lose the PR war, day after day.”
“No other controversy has sandbagged President Trump and his administration like the Epstein files, the subject of a rare revolt by congressional Republicans and endless guilt-by-association news stories and social media commentary.”
Holiday Volunteers Needed to Redact Epstein Files
“The Justice Department’s leadership asked career prosecutors in Florida to volunteer over the ‘next several days’ to help redact the Epstein files, in the latest Trump administration push toward releasing the hundreds of thousands of photos, internal memos and other evidence around the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein,” CNN reports.

Mark Epstein, brother of child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, alleged to the FBI in 2023 that his brother was murdered because he was ready to “name names” and even claimed President Trump was behind the death, Mediaite reports.
Epstein Prosecutors Prepared Sex Trafficking Indictment
“Federal prosecutors prepared an indictment of Jeffrey Epstein in 2007 that would have charged him with sex trafficking, and grand jurors heard months of testimony on the case, records from the Justice Department show,” Bloomberg reports.
“Epstein, three of his employees and two of his companies would have been charged in a draft indictment that accused him of abusing girls as young as 14.”
Tipster Was Invited to Party ‘For Prostitutes’ at Mar-a-Lago
“The FBI received a tip in October 2020 that appears to be from an unidentified female who said she had information about a ‘Jeffrey Epstein party’ in 2000. The person’s information is redacted in the FBI’s summary of the tip, which is included in the new files,” CBS News reports.
“The woman alleged that someone named Ghislaine Lisa Villeneuve brought her to the party. Later, someone said that Donald Trump had invited everyone to Mar-A-Lago, according to the tipster.”

New Batch of Epstein Files Includes Mentions of Trump
“Three days after releasing a large tranche of Jeffrey Epstein documents that contained few mentions of President Donald Trump, the Justice Department on Monday disclosed thousands more files that included wide-ranging references to the president,” the Washington Post reports.
“The documents show that a subpoena was sent to Mar-a-Lago in 2021 for records that pertained to the government’s case against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s accomplice in sex trafficking. They include notes from an assistant U.S. attorney in New York about the number of times Trump flew on Epstein’s plane, including one flight that included just Trump, Epstein and a 20-year-old woman, according to the notes.”
“The newly released documents also include several tips that were collected by the FBI about Trump’s involvement with Epstein and parties at their properties in the early 2000s.”

Bill Clinton Calls for Release of All Epstein Files
A spokesperson for former President Clinton called on the Department of Justice to release any remaining materials involving the former president in files related to Jeffrey Epstein, The Hill reports.
Angel Ureña echoed Democratic lawmakers, saying that what the DOJ “has released so far, and the manner in which it did so, makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected.”
Said Ureña: “We do not know whom, what or why. But we do know this: We need no such protection.”

Bill Clinton Just Can’t Escape Scandal
New York Times: “Over the quarter-century since he left the White House, he has painstakingly worked to overcome the personal scandals that marred his presidency. At 79, Mr. Clinton has been enjoying the lifestyle of an elder statesman, traveling the world to deliver speeches and eulogies, writing memoirs and political thrillers, and continuing his philanthropic work.”
“But the Justice Department’s avalanche-like release on Friday of more than 13,000 files related to Mr. Epstein served as a powerful reminder of Mr. Clinton’s long-scrutinized ties to the disgraced financier as well as some of the former president’s less statesmanlike traits — his womanizing, reckless judgment and impulsivity.”

For Trump, the Epstein Files Won’t Go Away
Wall Street Journal: “The plan to move past Epstein hit a snag when Justice Department officials determined it was too difficult to make the necessary redactions in time. Instead they posted just the first tranche of documents Friday and promised to release more in coming weeks.”
“The timing makes it likely that Trump’s relationship with Epstein—which by Trump’s account ended when he cut off ties long before Epstein was first arrested in 2006—will continue to make news. The issue threatens to have a drip, drip, drip cadence that prevents the White House from fully turning the page.”

“The missing files, which were available Friday and no longer accessible by Saturday, included images of paintings depicting nude women, and one showing a series of photographs along a credenza and in drawers. In that image, inside a drawer among other photos, was a photograph of Trump, alongside Epstein, Melania Trump and Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell.”
NPR: Available to download Friday, some Epstein files no longer there Saturday afternoon.

“The Trump administration has transformed the release of the Epstein files into the 2025 version of WikiLeaks: a slow-drip document dump that could threaten a long list of Washington power players,” Politico reports.
