Happy Thanksgiving!

I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support of Political Wire. This year has been truly amazing — and for some, truly depressing as well.

It hasn’t always been easy to interpret what happened this year, but this holiday is a reminder that the responsibility I feel to my readers is itself a real gift. I’m so lucky to have this job.

I especially want to thank the members of the site. You’ve supported this community, helped it grow and weathered some technological problems along the way. You made the transition to new servers possible!

Finally, thanks to everyone who has told friends and colleagues about Political Wire. This site has grown solely through word-of-mouth. That’s pretty amazing and I’m really grateful.

Enjoy the holiday!
