Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) pushed back against acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney’s justification for withholding Ukraine aid in exchange for political help, CNN reports.
Said Murkowski: “You don’t hold up foreign aid that we had previously appropriated for a political initiative. Period.”
