“The top presidential candidates’ campaign spending plummeted last month as the coronavirus pandemic kept President Trump and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden close to home,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
“Mr. Biden’s campaign spent $12.9 million and Mr. Trump’s $7.7 million in April, their lowest outlays of the year.”
