Stefanik Wins Race to Replace Cheney

House Republicans on Friday elevated Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) to replace Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) as the party’s conference chair, CNN reports.

She won in a 134 to 46 secret ballot vote against Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX).

Just a reminder that Cheney was ousted by a voice vote.
