Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D), a wealthy hotel heir, has become an unlikely hero on the left, Vanity Fair reports.

He’s built a progressive record and is willing to throw barbs.

Said Pritzker: “Let me analogize this to the early days of the end of the Weimar Republic.”
