An Unsatisfying Solution to Fact Checking a Debate

CBS News put moderators Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan in a bad position ahead of tonight’s vice presidential debate.

The network says it will be “up to the candidates” to fact-check each other and that moderators will give them time to do so.
