“Under a set of White House-ordered regulations unveiled last month, the Postal Service wants to press ahead—in time for the midterms—with new controls on mail ballots, used by nearly a third of American voters. President Trump has long criticized mail voting as compromised, even as there is no documented evidence of widespread fraud tied to mail ballots.”
