Barr Meets with Rupert Murdoch

Attorney General William Barr “met privately Wednesday evening with one of President Trump’s frequent confidants, Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul whose holdings include Fox News, which has recently become more critical of the president,” the New York Times reports.

“The meeting was held at Mr. Murdoch’s home in New York.”

British Investigators Raid Murdoch’s Offices

The British offices of the Murdoch entertainment empire 21st Century Fox have been raided by investigators from the European Commission, the Daily Telegraph reports.

“It is understood that competition watchdogs gained access to the company’s offices in Hammersmith, west London, early today to seize documents and computer records.”

“The full details of the confidential investigation, which is believed to be in its early stages, are unclear.”

Rupert Murdoch likened Gov. Christie to a suicide bomber after the governor finished sixth in the New Hampshire primary, tweeting: “Chris Christie, suicide bomber. Damages victim while blowing himself up!”

The Newark Star Ledger reports Christie will suspend his presidential campaign.
