Former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka “is giving out phony Fox News business cards,” Mediaite reports.
“Gorka, who was fired from his nebulous role at the White House late last year, has been giving out business cards that include his personal information, like his Gmail address and cell phone number — as well as a poorly edited and outdated Fox News logo.”
Former Trump White House staffer Sebastian Gorka has an active warrant out for his arrest in Hungary, BuzzFeed News reports.
“Gorka, whose exact role in the White House while serving as a deputy assistant to the president was never entirely clear, apparently is in trouble with the law over a charge of ‘firearm or ammunition abuse.'”
Former Trump adviser Sebastian Gorka wrote in The Hill that he was instructed to cooperate with Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff while working at the White House, but ultimately declined because he had a “gut feeling” the book would be biased against Trump.
Although Gorka did not say who told him to cooperate, Wolff has said that multiple high-level White House officials – including Steve Bannon, Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway – helped him get interviews.
“Sebastian Gorka, an outspoken adviser to President Trump and lightning rod for controversy, has been forced out of his position at the White House,” the New York Times reports.
“One of the officials said that the president’s chief of staff, John F. Kelly, had telegraphed his lack of interest in keeping Mr. Gorka during internal discussions over the last week.”
Politico: “The latest high-profile resignation from the populist faction of Trump’s ideologically divided West Wing erupted over a major policy disagreement about Afghanistan.”
Washington Post: “Although Trump enjoyed watching his cable television appearances, in which he performed like a pit bull and taunted many news anchors for peddling what he and the president deemed ‘fake news,’ Gorka had run afoul of many of his colleagues, including some on the National Security Council who considered him a fringe figure.”
Sebastian Gorka, President Trump’s top counter-terrorism adviser, is a formal member of a Hungarian far-right group that is listed by the U.S. State Department as having been “under the direction of the Nazi Government of Germany” during World War II, leaders of the organization have told the Forward.
